The beautiful hill station of Kasauli with its breathtaking views, in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh can be visited by all modes of transport. Although, lying at an elevation of 1900 metres above the sea level and surrounded by dense forests of pine and cedar trees, it has a well – connected road system. Kasauli is well connected by road system with two major cities – Delhi (5 – 6 hour drive) and Chandigarh (an hour drive). As per one’s convenience, a taxi can be hired or a bus can be boarded.

  • By Train/Rail

Nearest station from Kasauli is Kalka Railway Station (Haryana), which is at a distance of around 40 km. Kalka is also connected with Solan with a narrow gauge railway line. From Kalka, one can easily hire a taxi or a travel by a local bus to kasauli.

  • By Air

Chandigarh International Airport is the nearest airport to Kasauli, approximately 61 kms away. Further, one can reach Kasauli by road with the help of a taxi or a bus.
